Poliframe

A small, native macOS app that combines your photos into clean diptychs and triptychs.

Poliframe started with my daughter's photos. I was finally going through them — her first days at the maternity hospital, her christening, all the small milestones since — and I wanted to pair them into diptychs.

I used to do this in Photoshop, with a little script I'd written for it. But I don't keep Photoshop around anymore, and doing it by hand was tedious. And, well — I'm a developer: faced with a small, repetitive task, the only reasonable response is to build a whole app to avoid it. So that's what I did — a native one that does exactly this, nothing more.

The name is a blend of Polina — my daughter — and Frame.
